Sequencing Data from Patient-Derived Models of Pediatric Cancer
Pediatric cancer can take decades of life from patients and devastate families. To design improved treatments we must understand the pathogenesis and molecular mechanisms underlying development of these diseases. Tumor samples from patients are precious resources that give unique biological insights. To extend the utility of these samples, we utilize patient derived xenograft (PDX) models. These models are created by growing patient tumor samples in immune compromised mice. This increases the volume of samples available for study and enables in vivo testing. We generated single cell RNAseq data from pediatric PDX models to characterize the tumor, explore microenvironmental interactions and test treatments. This study aims to provide a warehouse for data generated from PDX models. Additional data will be added as it becomes available and is published.
