Mexico Biobank Data Access Policy
Whole-genome sequencing raw data for 50 genomes from the MX Biobank Project (MXB) are available at the European Genome-phenome Archive (EGA) through a Data Access Agreement with the MXB Data Access Committee, under the following conditions: Users must be formally affiliated with an officially recognized Institution. The User cannot publicly release MXB data. All rights regarding data release remain with the MXB Data Access committee. The User cannot use MXB data for for-profit purposes. The User cannot undertake studies for personal use, such as family history research, or perform this research for others. The User can replicate existing studies published by the MXB project, using similar techniques, approaches and methods, to ensure that the published science is reproducible. The User can undertake genetic studies in which the data is used as a reference for the Native American ancestry component, such as reference panels for imputation and admixture analyses or as controls in future association studies.
Studies are experimental investigations of a particular phenomenon, e.g., case-control studies on a particular trait or cancer research projects reporting matching cancer normal genomes from patients.
